It was a Christmas to remember. LaDonna and I went with April and Madelyn to North Carolina (read temps up to 52) to spend a week with David, Heather, C.J., Jessa and Drew. On the way we made our usual stop at Tamarac, "the best of WV." It has terrific artisan work––weaving, sculpture, painting and ceramics to name a few areas. During the week of visiting I went to Morrow mountain twice. Once I went with the kids, LaDonna and Heather and once with David. Of course, David went for his favorite trail at a pace to "punish the mountain." I'm not at that level so I went just to survive the climb. Anyway, now that we are home we miss them terribly already.
I am a creative artist who has a passion for wedding photography. After receiving a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Notre Dame, I taught photography and digital imaging as well as calligraphy, painting and drawing at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana and at Ivy Tech State College in South Bend, Indiana.
One of my career highlights was a 8 day trip to the Boundary Waters wilderness area located between northern Minnesota and Canada. Truly a photographer's paradise.
